What is a pre-order?
A Pre-order is when you place an order for a video game that has not been released yet in New Zealand. By pre-ordering your game you get it on the day of release in New Zealand.
No waiting in queue at the games store with annoying staff bugging you with “Can I help you?” or having to try and find a car park at the mall on the weekend. We receive the games usually 2-3 days before the release date which allows us to get them out to you so that you can have them on the day they hit the shelves.
Why do you focus on pre-orders?
When we looked to set up the business we came to the conclusion that game prices in New Zealand where extravagant to say the least and asked ourselves as gamers what would be a fair price that we would be willing to pay for a game.
By focusing on pre-orders and not having to carry games that might never sell we are able to keep our stock exposure down and as such are able to pass this on as savings to our customers. On average by pre-ordering your game we can save you 20% off the RRP that you would pay from your normal games store.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Paypal, Paygo and Internet Banking.
What credit cards do you accept?
As above we accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express via Paypals credit card facility, we do this because Paypals credit card commision charges are lower than the banks so we are able to pass the savings onto you.
Can I pay with PayPal?
Yes
Can I pay with Internet Banking?
Yes, if you select internet banking as your prefered option you will be given our bank account details.
My shopping cart isn’t working. What should I do?

When will I get my order?
As soon as we recieve the games in we ship them to you.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes you can, please email us if you want to do this though.
Can I trade in my old games?
Yes we do look at buying secondhand stock provided it is in a reasonable condition.

We offer ParcelPost™ Fast, ParcelPost™ Tracked
What are your Shipping Prices?
ParcelPost™ Fast is $5.00 anywhere in NZ and ParcelPost™ Tracked is $5.50
What do I do if an item is missing from my order?
Please contact us at info@vgn.co.nz and we will work with NZ Post to find your parcel
My parcel was damaged in transit?
Please contact us at info@vgn.co.nz so we can send you a new one and make a claim with NZ Post.
